Jamal (them/he) is a registered psychology associate and Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of David Goode-Cross. Jamal’s professional experiences and clinical training has spanned all aspects of community service, most notably through professional roles as a mental health clinician, sexual health educator, and case manager. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, identity development, sexual and reproductive health concerns, and men’s issues. He uses an integrative therapeutic approach that is grounded in psychodynamic, feminist therapy, Black psychology, and solution-focused interventions.
