James Willey

James currently has availability for client appointments Sundays through Wednesdays.  James can see clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna insurances, as well as those who are self pay.

James Willey (they/them) is a registered psychology associate under the supervision of Dr. David Goode-Cross and is currently completing their doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland. James has experience working with adults in university counseling centers and in community mental health settings. James’ clinical interests include LGBTQ+ identity development, exploration of gender identity, Asian and Asian American identity, autism spectrum disorder, working with individuals with disabilities, exploring multicultural identity, attachment, grief, and trauma. James’ uses a person-centered and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach when working with clients.
