Nimi Amachree (she/her/hers) is a registered psychology associate under the supervision of Dr. Goode-Cross and is currently working towards her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Loyola University Maryland. Nimi has experiences working with children and adults in community-based, outpatient, inpatient and hospital-based settings. Her professional interests include working with individuals with trauma, severe mental illness, substance abuse, grief, depression, and anxiety. Nimi utilizes a cultural intersectional lens that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Interpersonal Process Therapy to identify clients concerns and explore effective interventions for support. She firmly holds the belief that with the culturally supportive tools and awareness, her clients can live meaning lives. Nimi is currently accepting adolescent and adult clients.
